Wikipedia at the National Digital Forum

In November, Mike ran a one-day workshop in Wellington for the National Digital Forum, a group of curators, archivists, and librarians who do digital projects. They learned about Wikipedia and how it works, five things to think about before editing, and got a chance to create and modify pages in two hands-on sessions (PDF of programme). Whanganui’s Wiki Wednesday group was mentioned as a model to emulate. It was a great success, and we’ll be doing it again elsewhere.
